Pirate Pizazz
We would like to make note of the fact that the Red Pirate group members endeavored to work on their pirate project outside of class time. Bonus points or Spanish galleons will be accepted assuming that our class instructor actually reads this particular entry.
Anyway, in preparation for our project, Red wore her pirate gear to the classroom and despite the fact that it was dark outside and visibility was low a seafaring stranger called out to her. What did he say, you ask? Why nothing less than "Yargggg!"
Which just goes to show that there are reformed pirates out there who have managed to learn such skills as basic hygiene and etiquette, thus proving the necessity of a program like Red Pirates, which aims to teach these skills. There is at least one reformed pirate out there to prove it. Avast!

How to talk like a pirate

Lindsey lost at sea
Today we began planning our video. Red brought some of her amazing pirate props. So we give her props. She's a salty seadog, but really that's what we look for in a pirate.
We found a great site for generating pirate insults at http://www.insult-o-matic.com/insults/?mode=pirate.
We still aren't sure what we will do for the garageband music. Red forgot her pirate song sheet music. Actually it's in Blanding, UT and that's pretty much useless for any group of pirate loving marooners. Ahoy!
Almost forgot that Lindsey found us a such a sweet pirate theme for the blog! Way to go linds, you seafaring wench! (J/K)

Welcome to the Blargh!
That's "blog" for all ye scurvy land lubbers who don't speak pirate. This here blargh is a site for the reform and ettiquettefication of pirates and all their seaworthy, hygiene impaired friends. We'll be posting lots of great ideas when we come into port, since the only "net" we have at sea is for fishing. So Hardy har har and a bottle of rum. Yargh.
